An animated short film made by three 3D students in Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. This was a summer project, but in the name of truth it took much longer than a summer to make it.. :P

Starring Maroon & Fern, lizardy twins, whose quest for food turns out to be a race for life and death.. or just for satiety and hunger..

Maya, After Effects, Premier

@02:58what a cute little animation!

what program did you use?
if you don't mind me asking.

It was well done anyways!

I really wish I could learn to animate like this. then again, learning to animate in any style would be useful.

@02:58Thank you! :)

I used Maya and After Effects.

Oh yes, I studied 3D but at the moment I'm working as a hand-drawn animator. Animation is not dependent on the tool but on how well you know the basics and how well you're able to apply those "rules" in different mediums. But the most important thing is to have the passion for animation. ;)

@02:58OHHHHHH

That makes sense.

I'm trying to get the right programs for animation, so that maybe I could figure out how to start.

(gosh, that will probably take a dang lot of time...)
