I just realized my last journal was written before christmas when I was heading to Mex.. So it was time to do a little update..

Anyways, my trip went great! We had some really good time with my beloved tiger and saw some incredible places that I could have never imagine to see in my life. Just pure awesomeness! I might be too lazy to write about them in all detail.. But some of my personal favorites were definitely the monarch butterfly sanctuary (millions of monarch butterflies all around ), Hierve el Agua in Oaxaca (incredibly amazing place in the middle of mountains) and the beach in Huatulco.. and the Cañon del Sumidero in Chiapas.. and Lagunas de Montebello.. and waaa.. too many awesome places!! In short: if you ever have a chance to go around Mexico, don't miss it! So many incredibly amazing places! And I'm lucky to have chance to go there over and over again..

Also I just realized the year changed too.. and I was about to write about what I did last year.. And it's already February.. But well... better late than never..
Well, many things happened.. But if I would have to choose one word that would describe the year 2011, that would be: Busy. I was insanely busy whole year.. First I did my thesis and graduated, then I got a job.. and another one.. and the last few months of the year I was working in two places at the same time.. As an animation teacher in my old school and at Anima Vitae as a junior animator, where I'm still working atm. Doing two jobs was incredibly tiring.. I hope I don't need to do it ever again..
Also the highlights of the year were the trips to Mexico. First time in April and then again in December.
What else... The love for my sweetheart deepened every day.. (I'm totally crazy about him ___) ..And I think in some way I grew up as a person too.. I learned a lot about myself, and maybe became more self-confident.. as I had to give presentations about my short film that premiered last year, but also about my thesis, and then later when giving the lectures about storyboarding and animation.. I used to be really nervous about speaking in front of an audience. Not that I would still be too confident to do it, but it definitely got much easier.

What this year will bring.. I have no idea. For now I'm working and I know I will surely be working till June.. But after that.. I have no idea.. Though I will have my vacation in July.. I haven't had a proper summer holiday for years. So is big time to have some real relaxing.. I really need it. And hopefully (and very likely) my lovie will come here in summer! And probably I will go to Mex again..

One thing I need your opinion about.. Especially if there're animators around..

As I might have told before, I did my thesis about Animating big cats. And I thought it would be very useful for other animators too. Unfortunately for now is only in Finnish, but I've been planning to translate it into English so it would be even more useful. Basically is just animation sheets and some rambling about the most common movements of big cats.. And animation examples of those movements.
But.
What I need your opinion for is: how I should publish it?
Should I post it here on dA one sheet at the time?
Or to my blog?
Or make whole separate blog for it?
Or just make a big .pdf file or something alike and share it somewhere..?
Or something else?

And now that I have the fancypants dA account, thanks to certain people, I'll make a poll about this.. As soon as I figure out how to do it.. x3
